About me
Welcome — I’m Emily Sugarman, and I’ve loved jewelry for as long as I can remember. While some children reached for the cookie jar, my hand was usually in my grandmother’s jewelry box (though I’ll admit, I still have a soft spot for cookies).
Before finding my way into the world of fine jewelry, I spent years in creative fields — as a graphic artist, production designer, retoucher, and art director. Each role deepened my appreciation for craftsmanship, composition, and detail — qualities that now shape everything I design and curate.
During the pandemic, I began collecting antique and vintage jewelry with the same enthusiasm as a squirrel gathering nuts. Eventually, my collection outgrew its drawers, and I created an Instagram page to share these treasures, along with some of my grandmother’s heirloom pieces. What began as a personal passion evolved into a thriving business and a creative home I never could have anticipated.
My Story
When I was finally old enough to buy my own jewelry, I discovered that my true joy came from reimagining it. What began with a pair of tweezers (the 90s were a strong-brow era, after all) soon grew into a full set of jewelry-making tools — and a lifelong pursuit of design.
My original creations have been worn on television and featured in a Brentwood boutique for many years. After taking time away to raise my children, I returned to my roots — designing, collecting, and sharing jewelry that carries both history and heart.
Each piece I create or curate tells a story — of beauty, memory, and connection — and I’m honored to share those stories with you.
